The biggest challenge, though, is exercising enough patience to get a picture of a plane without a lot of extraneous knees and feet sprouting from its belly or wings. That doesn't always work, so I end up cropping down to a lot of tight detail shots - I like those a lot, though, so that's not a large penalty. It works best if you get there early - I was over in the war birds area first thing in the morning because it gets crowded so quickly.
